Not to be confused with cheap imported imitations this GSM PIR is an excellent disguised hand-made listening device (audio bug) that has been manufactured for totally discreet room monitoring. The built in movement sensor makes this unit unique. This superb GSM PIR Sensor has to be one of the easiest to fit into the surroundings of an office or home environment. There is no need for a tiny device that requires concealment because even under close inspection the GSM PIR gives nothing away. And because any normal PIR Sensor is mounted at ceiling height, then there should be no issues with sounds in the room not reaching the inbuilt sensitive microphone. This PIR unit contains a quad-band GSM module and as such can be used in any country worldwide and on top of this it has been unlocked to accept a SIM from any network, although it has in the UK only been tested on Orange/T-Mobile, Vodafone and Virgin SIM cards. The unit can be powered from the internal rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery, but if powered by the mains supply, the battery can offer back up in the event of power supply failure, thereby allowing the device to be used in permanent or long-term capacity. What makes this GSM unit more special is the fact that the PIR Sensor has been used to provide a movement/heat detection facility for the listening device. When the device detects body heat or movement within about 3 to 5 metres of the sensor, the unit will automatically call the mobile number that it has been set to call (requires credit on the SIM card). The call receiver will then be able to remotely hear what is being said in the room on their mobile phone. This facility can be activated and deactivated by sending a simple coded text message to the SIM inside the unit. Movement/heat detection is regarded as being more reliable than sound activation, with less false alerts. On top of all this, the sensitive microphone can pick up speech up to 8 metres from the GSM PIR, which means audio surveillance of large internal areas is very easily attained Features: GSM Bug incorporated within a standard sized PIR Room Sensor Sensitive microphone with listening radius of up to 8 metres Quad-Band and therefore deployable worldwide Accepts most SIM cards (tested on Orange, T-Mobile, Vodafone and Virgin networks) Powered from Mains supply and/or rechargeable internal battery 4 days standby - 3 hours listening time on pure battery power Unlimited listening-in time when powered from Mains Power supply Motion/heat activation sensor (SMS controlled) 120ยบ angle of activation - Sensing distance of between 3 to 5 metres Supplied with wall fixing, charging supply lead, etc.
